My role was truly blended where I bridged the gap of User Experience design which includes the research methods listed below and User Interface design which includes wireframing, lo- and hi-fidelity designs along with iterative prototyping. Please check out the Designs page.
Project Summary: To design a fully functioning developer portal to support three business units: Xfinity X1 apps, Digital Home, and TV Partner Program. The initial release of the portal is web based as the content is highly technical in nature.
The Team: Our team consisted of three groups. Product stakeholders, Comcast Senior Management, UX/UI design team, and system engineers. I acted as lead UX/UI designer and facilitated User Research studies, design sessions, prototypes and actively participated in all scrum calls, sprint reviews and final launch meetings.
Time Frame: We had 1 year to launch the Xfinity Developer Portal from research to engineering “hand-off” for production. The research and design phase was 6 months using Scrum Agile processes.
